Foreign workers who come to work in Thailand are allowed to work. When the visa and work permit are about to expire, they must renew the visa and work permit in time to avoid the documents from expiring and being unable to continue working.

  Visa and work permit extension procedures for foreign workers 

  1. Workers go for health check-ups at government or private hospitals that allow foreign workers to have health check-ups.
  2. Apply for a visa extension at the Immigration Bureau.
  3. Apply for a work permit at the employment office where the business is located.

   Documents required for visa extension (VISA) and work permit (WORK PERMIT) 

    Employer documents

  1. Copy of company certificate not older than 6 months (in case of a juristic person)
  2. Copy of the employer's or authorized signatory's national ID card
  3. Copy of employer's or authorized signatory's house registration

   Alien documents

  1. Copy of passport page (Passport) with original
  2. Copy of visa (VISA)
  3. Work Permit with original
  4. Three 1.5-inch photos
