Change of employer (notification of entry-exit)

Notification of change of employer must be made after the foreign worker has notified the change of employer of his/her departure from the previous employer.
Notification of change of employer must be made within 60 days from the date of notification of termination by the previous employer. It is divided into 2 groups.
MOU Foreign Workers Group

Conditions: You can change your employer when leaving your previous employer, but you must have a reason for leaving the job according to the following conditions:

  1. The employer dies or the business goes bankrupt.
  2. The employer physically abused/abused
  3. The employer fails to pay wages or does not comply with the employment contract.
  4. Making employees work in conditions that are dangerous to life or health
  5. The new employer/foreigner agrees to compensate the original employer for damages.
  6. If the foreign worker is someone brought in by the employer, the new employer must provide a security deposit of 1,000 baht per person.

Conditions: You can change your employer when leaving your previous employer. The reason for leaving must not be the employee's fault.

  1. Layoffs due to the employer's lack of liquidity, reducing staff
  2. Employer died / ceased business
  3. The employer physically abused/abused the employee.
  4. The employer fails to pay wages or does not comply with the contract.
  5. Making employees work in conditions that are dangerous to life or health

The former employer is required to notify the employer when the foreign worker leaves the job.
Within 15 days and foreign workers must notify their new employer within 60 days. If the deadline is passed, the work permit is considered expired and they must return to their home country.
