Notification of staying in the Kingdom for more than 90 days
An alien who has been granted permission to temporarily reside in the Kingdom, if staying in the Kingdom for more than 90 days, that alien has a duty to report his/her residence to an immigration officer every 90 days. If there is an immigration office in any area, he/she may report to the officer at that office. This is in accordance with Section 37(5) of the Immigration Act B.E. 2522.

Foreigner accommodation notification service
For business establishments
Notification of aliens’ residence, according to the Immigration Act B.E. 2522, Section 38, states that “The owner, owner of a house or occupant of a house or hotel manager who accepts an alien who has been granted permission to temporarily reside in the Kingdom must notify the officer at the Immigration Office located in the area where the house or hotel is located within twenty-four hours from the time the alien resides. If there is no Immigration Office located in any area, notify the police officer at the police station in that area.” In the case where the house, house or hotel where the alien resides according to paragraph one is located in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area, notify the officer at the Immigration Bureau.
Notification under paragraphs one and two shall be in accordance with the regulations prescribed by the Director-General: “In notifying the accommodation of foreigners staying in a residence, which includes hotels licensed under the Hotel Act and guesthouses, mansions, apartments, general establishments or rental houses, the owner of such residence, the owner of the rental house or the operator shall notify in the form of TM. 30.”
The Immigration Bureau has set out the formats and methods of providing services so that service applicants can choose the most appropriate method for the process as follows:

Notification service for aliens' residence within 24 hours
Required documents
- Passport copy
- Immigration Form 6
- Copy of current visa
- Copy of employer's house registration
- Copy of employer's ID card
- Company Certificate (in case of a juristic person)
- Copy of the ID card of the director (in the case of a juristic person)

Requesting a certificate of residence in Thailand for a driver's license / buying-selling cars/motorcycles for foreigners
Resident Certificate Application Service
Foreign workers working in Thailand who wish to obtain a driver's license or buy-sell cars/motorcycles must apply for a residence certificate to show that they actually reside in Thailand. The residence certificate can be applied for at the Immigration Office in the area where the foreigner resides.
Documents required to apply for a Resident Certificate
Homeowner's documents as stated in the residence (if it is a title deed, it cannot be submitted)
